CISS: Lakefield Camp - Lakefield, Ontario
Located in the Kawartha region in beautiful Lakefield, Ontario, 150 kilometres from Toronto (ages 9-17 & leadership programs for 17 year olds), Lakefield International Camp is the perfect choice for fun, games and learning. This Canadian summer camp is spread out over the extensive grounds of Lakefield College, one of the most prestigious private boarding schools in Canada, where Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, and Prince Felipe of Spain studied. Campers from around the world come to Lakefield to gain an appreciation of the outdoors, to develop skills in various sports and activities, and most importantly, to have fun! Students join with other Canadian and international campers for a truly unique camping experience. Whether students love water sports, climbing, crafts, dance, guitar or the Wilderness Education Program, at Lakefield Camp they learn to appreciate not only the stunning beauty of the nature that surrounds them, but also the cultural distinctions that make up their global community.
